Kids alternative, gluten and sugar free RAW chocolate truffles "Cocoa Dream" recipe!

My mother is a very well known nutrisionist and I eat healthy.  I am also, as a person, very interested in cooking and I am very talented when it comes to recipe writing.

Kids, love eating sweets and sweet food, but most of the sweet foods we eat are not very healthy and usually contain a lot of sugar. I have been participating in alternative recipes for kids (and adults, why not? :D) that are gluten free, and contain no sugar but are tasty all the same. Here is one of them...

Raw nutty sugar and gluten free chocolate truffles!
Preperation time: minimum two and a half hours!

You will need:

  1. Crushed walnuts, or any other crushed nuts, (optional)
  2. Butter, SOFT (as much truffles as you want to have. 15g of butter is approximately one medium truffle.)
  3. Honey or liquid stevia (to sweeten.)
  4. Cocoa powder (start with a teaspoon and add cocoa powder until you fell that it is enough, since everybody prefers differently. Some might like to eat strong and really chocolatey truffles, while others might like truffles which just have a little bit of cocoa in their truffles.)
  5. Coconut flakes (optional)
  6. Hemp seeds (optional).

  Method:

  1. Put the butter in a mixing bowl and stir with a spoon until creamy.
  2. Stir in the cocoa powder, honey or stevia, and then the nuts, coconut flakes and the hemp seeds. Put the chocolate mixture in the fridge for at least one hour.
  3. Take the chocolate mix out of the fridge and make little truffles (for a medium size, take a full tablespoon of the mixture and with your palms, model it into a round ball.)
  4. Sprinkle the surface in cocoa powder and then sprinkle the truffles with the powder, then the coconut flakes and finally the hemp. If you want the toppings to stick to the truffle better, then first cover the truffle with honey and then sprinkle with the flakes, seeds and the nuts.
  5. Put the truffles in the fridge for a few hours, or better overnight to harden, so it will be easier to eat them afterwards.

    1. Hey, Reham!
You are also gluten-free? Me too! I am intolerant to it. My mom is a wellness coach and a nutrisionist and she has made lots of gluten free recipes, shall I give you some ideas? :D Thanks!
